Prague is according to our us one of the most photogenic places. You will find in this article tips for the best places not only for your Instgram photos but only for great memories 🙂
1. Charles bridge
Charles bridge is historic bridge that crosses the Vltava river and connects Old Town and Lesser Town. It is also the second oldest bridge in the Czech republic and must visit place when you are in Prague!
Photo tips: Come there early in the morning (6-7 am) to avoid people and tourists. It is usually so overcrowded during the day that is almost impossible to move!

2. Old Town Square
Old Town Square in Czech known as Staroměstké náměstí is the most famous and central square in Prague. You can find there Gothic Church of Our Lady, the Baroque St. Nucholas Church and medieval astronomical clock mounted on the Old Town Hall that are the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world!
Photo tips: Came there early in the morning if you don’t to stay in line for photo with astronomical clock!

3. Vystaviste Holesovice
Vystaviste Prague Holesovice is used for exhibitions. You can find there Industrial palace, famous Krizik’s fountain (musical fountain) or Lapidarium.
Photo tip: Building has amazing colours during sunrise or sunset but again if you want photo without tourists, come there early in the morning!

4. National museum Prague
National museum is one of the most famous building in Prague and exhibits natural scientific and historical collections. This building is photogenic from outside and even inside so don’t miss the opportunity to take photo here!
Photo tip: There is entrance fee if you want to visit National Museum but the photo with the main stairs looks very good. Unfortunely we don’t have any because building was under reconstruction :/ Another favorite photo place is with fountain if front of museum.

5. Gardens below Prague Castle
Prague has lots of parks where you can escape city rush but this one has amazing view of Prague and places for perfect photos!
Photo tips: Gardens are little bit hidden but also perfect escape from city rush. Best time to come is in the morning or afternoon.

6. Prague swans
Want to take perfect romantic photo with swans and view of the Charles bridge at the same time? This place is exactly what you are looking for!
Photo tips: Take some bread with you if you want to attract swans 🙂

7. Grébovka parc
Grebovka also known as Havlicek gardens offers nice fountain with water cascade, pond, artificial cave, pavilion or gazebo in the middle of vineyard. There is also unique view of Prague!
Photo tips: Place on the photo below is called Grotta and best light is during sunrise or sunset.

8. Klementinum Baroque Library
This is the most beautiful baroque library in the world!! Klementinum is historic complex of buildings. Library hall was open in 1722 and you can find there over 20 000 volumes and number of them have global significance.
Photo tips: You can go inside only with guided tour which comprised Baroque library, Meridian Hall and Astronomical tower where is another photo spot with view of Old Time Square! If you want photo in Library, you have to write to management and ask them for private tour!

9. Lom Velka Amerika (Czech Grand Canyon)
If you have still time, you can take a bus and travel about by bus or car because it is located 30 km from Prague (bus 311 from metro Zlicin to village Modrina). And if you come there you can take a short walk to Karlstejn castle which is one of the most famous castle in Czech! From there you can take a train back to Prague.
Photo tips: Come there in the afteroon, best during the sunset because it has better lights and colors! Location and the view of the second photo (Karlstejn castle) is from route close to Morin village.

10. Maj viewpoint (Vyhlidka Maj)
Another amazing photo location in nature is from Maj Viewpoint (Czech Horseshoe!). You can go there by bus no. 361 from Smichovské nadrazi to Stechovice and then bus no. 438 to Teletion and the way takes about 1 hour.
Photo tip: Come there during the afternoon if you want better lights and colors. The best season for visiting is autumn when the leaves are corourful 🙂
