We have for you article with (hopefully) several useful tips for best accommodation in Kuala Lumpur. We tried four different places so we have something to compare 😀
1. Low cost version
Dorms KL is great value accommodation in central Kuala Lumpur. You can choose between dormitory rooms (most budget option) or private room with double bed. We chose private room and we paid 11 USD for room with breakfast included! Rooms are small and modest but bathroom was always clean and staff was super nice and friendly. We can really recommend this place and don’t expect any view. Only perfect location and cheap price 🙂
Regalia Skypool Dorms KL : We booked this place for one night only because of the infinity pool. It is located in 37th floor with incredible view of Kuala Lumpur and sunrise. We paid 18 USD for both (2 beds in dormitory) and small breakfast included (toast + jam). And we can say that the pool was worth it! Come at 7 am if you want photo in pool without people after it become really overcrowded.
2. Middle value hotel
Hilton Garden Inn Hotel South I guess you are asking how we could put Hilton in middle value. But this is not mistake! Even Hilton Garden Inn looks amazing, have amazing terrace and amenities, it belongs to middle range in KL. We paid for one night with buffet breakfast included 52 USD for both. We could use rooftop pool, gym and discount vouchers for the rooftop bar. View from this bar was really stunning as you can see in the photo below :))
4. Luxury hotels
Category for people who like luxury and can pay extra for it. The most popular place in KL is Platinum building. There is located famous hotel The Face Suites, The Platinum Suites and plenty of other accommodations on Airbnb. And what makes it so unique? Rooftop infinity pool that has one of the best views of Petronas Towers. Unfortunately we didn’t stay there but check photos on Google. Prices starts from 71 USD and higher, depends on date, number of people and Airbnb prices.
Another popular hotel is Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, with amazing view from its hotel rooms. Review on booking. com speak for themselves 🙂
